The big-small drawing
In this drawing, I used charcoal to create a beautiful detailed drawing. The main thing I used in this drawing is shadowing to create a cool 3D detailed effect of a toothpaste tube that is very zoomed in. I like the way I did the cap, and gave it ridges to show the shadows in the hollow inside. I think I could've improved it by filling it up more instead of leaving most of the tube white, but I still like it!
2 point perspective
This is my two point perspective drawing. I used mainly line value and shadowing to show 3D effect and add dimension.
Set design #2
This is my village for the upcoming production "Fiddler on the Roof". I used bright colors to show a bright and fun scene taking place in old Europe. I used complimentary colors as well to really make my drawing pop. I like the way I used curvy and straight lines to make contrast in the picture.
Set design #1
This is my sunset backdrop for the upcoming play, "Fiddler on the Roof". I started with drawing the sunset, which I used a variation of colors to create the contrast you see in a beautiful evening sunset. Next I focused on the darkest mountain and added trees that were slightly lighter than the mountain. I did the same thing for the middle ground, which was the second lightest layer. Last I created the lightest layer which was the grass. It is the layer that is closest to the persons perspective.
Name tag
This is my name tag and my cover for my website. I wrote my name inside of a flag and added shadows to the outside of the lettering. In the "Art" , I used a thinner font and added some dots on the outside. Next I shaded inside the flag creating a very cool effect. I finally added some accent in the background, which are polka dots, and some cool flower designs. I like the way it ended up turning out, and I think I could've improved it by making the letters closer together and by filling up more white space in the flag.
3D hand
In this project, I used lines to portray a 3D effect. The way the lines go from straight to curved gives the effect that the hand is sitting on the paper. I also used shading and shadowing to give the hand dimension and make it more realistic. I used the same techniques on the pencil lying beside the hand.
